About Raleigh Car Wash
Located at 100 Dennis Ave, Raleigh, NC 27604, Raleigh Car Wash operates as a self-service car wash serving Raleigh in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Raleigh, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across North Carolina, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
With 3.8 out of 5 on Google from 123 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for self-service car washes in Raleigh. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Raleigh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Great spot if you prefer to wash by hand, especially if your vehicle has paint protection film or ceramic coating and you’ve been told to avoid automatic car washes. The bays are convenient, the setup makes it easy to do a careful wash yourself, and it’s a much better option than running through brushes or harsh automatic equipment. Definitely a good choice for anyone who wants to be a little more careful with their paint.

Self wash, not many in the area. Better to pay with cash. Cash minimum is $4.00 to start, card is $6.10. Otherwise, everything mostly works as expected

Vacuum suction is pretty strong, but the timer is quick. Used a Credit card for the wash...stick to cash! Well kept establishment. Clean. All equipment works.

Straightforward and easy self service car wash. Two things that made me take off a star: 1. I wish there wasn’t such a dip and bump before and after the bays. For lower cars, it’s easy to scrape if you aren’t aware. 2. There’s no clear statement of cost per minute or other time frame cost. The machine does show you how much you are spending as you use it, but I wish it was a clear cut dollar per minute or dollars per 5 min type set up.
